The unveiling of iOS 7 yesterday gathers a lot of cheerful fans knowing that the latest iteration of iOS brings a lot of new design and features. Simplicity, translucency, completely redesigned icons etc. are some of the bits and pieces that was mix with their old design and come up with a new operating system. Now Apple is claiming that iOS 7 is the world’s most advanced mobile operating system. I might agree with this the first time I saw Apple’s latest version of iOS. But since I own an iPad 2 and a Samsung Galaxy Note 2 and have used it for some couple of months now, I can spot their differences and I would know if a design exists on the other.
I knew it. As I was looking at the images of Apple iOS 7 at the WWDC 2013, it feels like I was looking at an iPhone running on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. From my own perspective I cannot help but imagine that some designs from Android were borrowed by Apple. The lock screen, multi-tasking screen, music player, control center and full screen browsing are some of the similarities that I can see. Since iOS 7 was still under development stages, Apple might change it a bit to look more like Apple (or Android?). But if the Cupertino based company decided to stick with their current plan, we will be expecting Apple products to look more like Android that only the hardware will set the distinction. Look at the slideshow below and judge whether iOS 7 did borrowed from Android Jelly Bean or not.

With the iOS 7, it would seem that Apple now moves in the same direction with Google and Microsoft in giving its users more simplified approach of doing things with their gadgets. What do you think of Apple iOS 7? Let us know by posting your comments below.
