This isn’t a desktop PC as you might have guessed. And yes it comes with a Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 Ti for that gamer in you. Acer just debuts their newest notebook generation that is focused on “budget” gamers and office junkies on the go. In this attempt by Acer, they might have seen that more and more “casual” gamers opt to buy a laptop that could play (if not all, atleast) “most” of the games available today. While this could be true, Acer Nitro 5 could be the best bet for all gamers out there that needs mobility and just the right “muscle” to flex their games with.
Early adopters can choose to get a 7th Gen Intel Core i7 or i5 with the aforementioned NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti. Or if you’re an AMD fan then the AMD A-Series FX, A12, or A10 Plus combined with a Radeon RX550 would be the best CPU-GPU combo for you. Storage options on the other hand can be a 512 GB SSD and can be further increased by adding a 2 TB HDD. RAM can go up to 32 GB using DDR4 2400 MHz memory chip.
Acer Nitro 5 series also includes a selection of USB ports that includes a first generation USB 3.1 Type-C, one USB 3.0 with power-off charging, two USB 2.0 ports and and HDMI 2.0 that can support up to 90 Hz refresh rates. Not cool enough? Acer introduced a “CoolBoost” technology that will allow you to adjust the fan.
All models comes with a Windows 10 OS and offers a 15.6 inch Full HD IPS display with up to 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution.
