Just recently the newest flagship of Apple HQ was already unveiled for the world to see. Knowing this, critics and Apple fans as well will be looking into the specs and see if iPhone will really put all other smartphones to shame. After a quick look I find out that iPhone 5 still lacks some of the features found on other smartphones. But if you will check iPhone 5 physical dimensions, people that prefer a lighter, sleek and non-plastic mobile device will surely get delighted. I say non-plastic, because the iPhone 5 is now encased in a high-grade anodized aluminum enclosure that also contributes to its lightness.

The iPhone 5 now features a 4 inch Retina Display with a pixel dimension of 1136 x 640 at 326 pixels per inch. Though it can be regarded as one of the sharpest mobile phone in the market, it falls short to Nokia Lumia 920 coming at 1280 x 768 at 332 pixels per inch in a larger 4.5 display.

Processor speed of the iPhone 5 was not yet announced by Apple HQ, but according to them the iPhone 5 with its new A6 processor will be twice as fast compared to the iPhone 4S processor. So for now we still have to wait for future announcements from Apple to give a direct comparison. Nokia Lumia, Samsung Galaxy S III, Droid RAZR Maxx HD and HTC One X features a dual-core Snapdragon S4 processors while Samsung’s Galaxy Note II has a whopping 1.6 GHz quad-core Exynos processor.

The iPhone 5 now features a new Lighthing port for connectivity purposes to your computer that is 80% smaller and reversible that can also be used to charge your iPhone 5 via the Lightning cable. It also features 4G LTE connectivity but we all know that this feature is not new to Android and Windows Phone devices that are currently available in the market. If you want NFC connectivity, don’t get upset because it’s not supported by the iPhone 5 that allows you to perform tasks by just tapping your phone with another NFC device or smartphone. Also the iPhone 5 does not include wireless charging found on Nokia Lumia 920 smartphones.
