[EXCLUSIVE] Samsung Galaxy S4 to be Unveiled in February 2013
The heat is on. The fierce battle between the two smartphone manufacturer giant Apple and Samsung has got a little more intense. While the iPhone 5 can be seen emerging to the top as the crowd’s favorite, the Galaxy S3 can be seen surviving from the punches hurled by Apple’s latest flagship. The iPhone 5 with its latest features and completely redesigned from top to bottom was receiving millions of pre-orders amounting to more than 2 million a day. Given the situation, can Samsung Galaxy S3 survive the harsh competition? Is there a need for Samsung HQ to release the next upgrade which is the Samsung Galaxy S4 for a powerful counter punch?
Samsung Electronics seems to planning the unveiling of a more powerful device – the Samsung Galaxy S4 that is set to happen in February 2013. This plan could be Samsung’s answer to Apple’s iPhone 5 that seems to put all other popular smartphones to shame. This plan was announced by Samsung Electronics 3-days after the unveiling of the iPhone 5.
According to an official “Samsung is ready to unveil the next Galaxy smartphone – the Galaxy S4 – at early next year’s mobile world congress (MWC) in the Spanish city of Barcelona”. He wishes not to be named. For the uninformed, the Mobile World Congress is the biggest exhibition in the world that caters telecom companies like Samsung Electronics. In this event that is set to happen in February next year, the Galaxy S4 can be seen boasting its new features with external changes at the Samsung’s booth.
According to one of the official from Samsung’s local parts supplier “Samsung wants to keep its one-year product schedule and the Galaxy S4 will be the first to match that strategy. The S4 will see some external changes but retain its popular rectangular shape with rounded corner concept”.
The new Samsung Galaxy S4 was expected to show off a wider touchscreen display of 5 inches that is larger to Galaxy S3 at 4.8 inches. If you will be asking if Samsung will incorporate the flexible display technology in the Galaxy S4, the answer is that Samsung has not decided yet. For questions about LTE connectivity, yes the Galaxy S4 will include and definitely use LTE networks for better video streaming, browsing and downloading experience.
After the unveiling at the MWC 2013, it is expected for the Samsung Galaxy S4 to hit the shelves as early as March 2013.
