Having the freedom to change, modify or alter an object to suit our preferences is desirable by many in almost all aspect of everyday living. In the IT world this is evident that we always look for different ways to enhance the digital experience by customizing the look and feel of a particular gadget or environment. This freedom gives us the opportunity to show the world our real personality and identity. Having your own identity is very important especially when playing on-line games. In DOTA 2 online you can now customize your favorite DOTA hero via an in-game store. However you will need to earn game items that you will need for your DOTA 2 hero customization. Read on.
The DOTA 2 Store
Announced recently by the DOTA Team, the game will now contain an in-game store where you will be able to customize your favorite hero. It’s called the DOTA Store where you can purchase different items, gears and tools allowing you to modify or alter your default hero’s sword, armor, hair style etc. Some items are included in bundles or packages but can be bought separately if you want.
To buy an item posted in the Dota Store you can purchase it directly or have them free by increasing your profile’s Battle Level. Because each time your profile’s Battle Level increases you will receive a new item for free. So how would you increase your profile’s Battle Level? You can do so by earning enough Battle Points rewarded by the system when you complete a matchmaking game.
I am not sure though if you can choose which item would you like to receive after reaching a certain Battle level. But to earn game items for free while playing will be something that is good news to all DOTA 2 fans. What do you think of this new feature of DOTA 2 online?
