Yes, you’re reading it right. Maybe this is everybody’s dream not only Apple fans but every fans of different mobile platform out there waiting to have a similar mobile application running on their own gadget. It could be a simple widget that keeps you updated of the current weather conditions or just a simple RSS reader that periodically shows you the latest topic posted on your favorite blog or forums on your mobile device. This weekend our dreams will now become a reality allowing us to install most of the Android Package available online on the most popular platforms like Blackberry’s RIM, Apple’s iOS and other non-Android devices. Read this post and find out how you can install android apps on your iPad.
This application works similarly to the java client installed on Windows machine that allows you to run JAVA applications. Created by Myriad Group, they will be launching Alien Dalvik 2.0 next week that is expected to support TVs, e-book readers and tablet computers like the Apple’s iPad. For Meego fans, you should be happy to know that they have already supported this platform which started last February of this year.
For the iOS device, the only problem now lies to Apple engineers itself whether they will allow this kind of application and any Android applications on their iOS. But for those people who want to try this out, expect to have this ‘android-like-java-client’ to run on iOS device that has been jailbroken.
Though it’s not clear that they will support Samsung’s Bada, we should expect that they will include this platform in their target list. So let’s just crossed our fingers Bada fans.
